Online Wine Shop Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through our website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

• “Company” means Louma Country Hotel Ltd, including Louma Vineyard.
• “Purchaser” means the individual or organisation placing an order.
• “Goods” means any wine or related items sold through the online shop.
• “Order” means a request by the Purchaser to buy Goods via our website.
• “Working Day” means Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, excluding UK bank holidays.

3. Ordering Wine

Orders may be placed through our website. By ordering, you confirm all information provided is accurate and that you are at least 18 years old. All Orders are subject to acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an Order for reasons including stock availability, payment issues, or suspected misuse.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT. Prices may change without notice but will be honoured once an Order is confirmed. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. Payment must be made in full before dispatch.

5. Cancellations & Returns

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours if not yet dispatched. If dispatched, cancellation is permitted within 14 working days of delivery. Goods must be returned unopened and in original condition. Breakages or faulty wine must be reported within 3 working days. Refunds are processed within 30 days of receipt of returned Goods.

6. Delivery

We deliver across the United Kingdom. Standard delivery is typically 3–5 working days after Order confirmation. An adult aged 18+ must sign for deliveries. If no eligible recipient is available, redelivery may be arranged and additional charges may apply.

7. Storage & Wine Guarantee

Louma Vineyard wines are guaranteed for 12 months when stored according to the provided instructions. Improper storage may void the guarantee.

8. Website Use

You must not misuse our website or attempt fraudulent purchases. We may suspend access for maintenance or security reasons.

9. Liability

Our total liability is limited to the Order value. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

10. Age Verification

It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under 18. By placing an Order, you confirm you are at least 18. Delivery drivers may request ID.

11. Force Majeure

We may cancel or delay Orders due to events beyond our control, such as extreme weather or supply disruptions. If disruption exceeds 60 days, either party may cancel the Order.

12. Notices

Notices will be sent to the email or address provided. Email notices are considered received the same day; postal notices within 2 working days.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your Order applies.

14. Severability

If any term is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
